WinASO Registry Optimizer

WinASO Registry Optimizer is a software tool which enables you to clean your Windows registry entries, with just a few clicks.

The installation process runs smooth and does not take longer than a few moments. The user interface is clean and intuitive. It consists of very few items, such as a navigation panel, a few buttons and a pane in which to display selected elements.

Consequently, it becomes quite clear that all types of users can easily find their way around it, without encountering any kind of issues.

This utility allows you to easily scan your Windows registry and remove obsolete items, according to a predefined schedule.

Aside from that, WinASO Registry Optimizer also allows you to clean the Start menu and desktop (e.g. Recycle Bin, find and search history, start menu click history, run history), Windows system (e.g. clipboard, system temp files, memory dumps) and recent activities (e.g. ''Paint'' recent file list, last opened registry, common dialog history).

You can clean invalid shortcuts that are cluttering your desktop, use a backup and restore system, optimize the computer (e.g. automatically end hung applications, speed-up Windows refresh and shutdown), defrag the registry and initiate a data recovery process.

Moreover, you can manage Internet Explorer settings (e.g. change the homepage, repair window title, enable control panel, display all local drivers), programs which automatically run at system startup, application uninstalls, along with system tools (e.g. “Computer Management,” “Performance Monitor,” “Windows Security Center”).

In the "Options" menu you can configure scheduling parameters, scanning options, as well as create a list of ignored registry keys, values and shortcuts.

The program uses a moderate amount of system resources, has a well-drawn Help file with snapshots and we have not experienced any major difficulties during our tests. We strongly suggest WinASO Registry Optimizer to all users.
