After selecting the source drive, the utility will quickly analyze it and retrieve all deleted files, then list them all in the ‘Step 3 of 6’ window. They are grouped depending on their type, into ‘Document’, ‘Compressed’, ‘Video’, ‘Audio’, ‘Image’ and several other categories.

However, a ‘Search’ function is not available to help you locate an item more quickly, so you need to browse through the entire list to find it. To restore a file, you can check its corresponding box, define a save location and within moments, MDT FileRecovery will export it to that folder.
