Portable Resonic

Portable Resonic is a software tool which was developed in order to help individuals play songs and quickly browse through the contents of your hard drive.

This is the portable counterpart of Resonic, meaning you can skip the installation process and copy the program files to any location on the HDD, and click the executable in order to run it. If you copy the last mentioned items to a portable storage unit, such as a USB flash drive, you can use Portable Resonic on any computer you have access to.

It is also important to keep in mind that the Windows registry and Start menu are not going to suffer any changes, and no leftovers will remain after its removal.

It encloses an intuitive and clear-cut environment, with a tree view of your hard disk, so that you can find your music in a more efficient manner. The “drag and drop” function is also incorporated and automatically displays the location of the uploaded audio file.

This utility sports a few playback controls (play, pause, stop, next and previous) and a volume bar. It is possible to view a spectrum analyzer or wave form, shuffle songs, activate the loop mode, repeat only a section of an audio file or schedule the computer to log off, sleep, hibernate or shut down after a user-input period of time.

Audio files are displayed in the main window with information such as name, size, artist, title and length. Right-clicking on an item enables you to copy, cut or send it to the Recycle Bin, open its location with Windows Explorer or refresh the list.
