Rapla

Rapla is a software tool, built in Java, which can be used in order to help individuals in adding all their events, appointments and resources so that they can manage their time in a more efficient manner.

This utility is portable, which means that you are not required to go through the installation process anymore. Instead, you can copy the program files to a pen drive or other external data device, and run it on any computer you have been granted access to, just by double-clicking the executable.

Another important aspect is that Rapla is not going to add new entries to the Windows registry and hard drive, as installers usually do. In addition to that, no traces of the app will be left behind after its removal.

The interface is simple and quite intuitive, as it is comprised of a menu bar, a few drop-down menus and two panels to show you a folder structure of all elements added, and another one which displays the calendar for the current day.

This software utility enables you to add multiple users, with custom rights. Aside from that, you can create events with details such as name, start and end time and date, type of repeating (if any) and resources.

Events can be printed or copied to the Clipboard, as well as saved to a custom location on the hard drive as a CSV file, and published to a specified URL.

From the settings panel you can change the language and account information (name, e-mail and password), establish the first day of the week and the number of rows per hour.

To sum up, Rapla is a pretty decent piece of software which can be handled with great ease. The response time is good, the system’s performance is not going to be hampered and you should know we did not detect errors or freezes.
