Built4Crafts can constitute a reliable help in your crafts business, since it allows you to create an extensive database in which to store and organize project details. The software allows you to create projects based on crafts fields, easily update them and monitor their evolution as the physical result takes form.

Whenever you create a new project with Built4Crafts, you may select a specific category, by which you can identify it later. Thus, you may add your project to one of the following areas: arts, beads, candles, crochet, holiday, jewelry, kids’ crafts, knit, paper, scrapping, sewing, wood or miscellaneous.

Optionally, you may select a sub-category as well, such as clothes, furniture, gifts, household or outdoor. The list of sub-categories can be appended at any time. Built4Crafts comes both as a stand alone software and as a Filemaker plugin. It features a user-friendly interface, as it works with a Filemaker type of database and allows you to handle data in three ways: view, edit and report modes.

Built4Crafts’s View mode allows you to observe all the details about a particular project. You may easily browse through the categories or use the Quick Find option in order to identify the project you are looking for. You may also access associated documents, suppliers, websites and magazine articles. Moreover, you can use the unit converter and other measurements tables as adjuvants in projects.

The Edit and Report modes can be accessed from the buttons at the top of the window. Simply select and edit a project or add a new one to enter the Edit mode. You may add photos, supplies, instructions or notes to each project, as well as modify category, origin, cost or difficulty. The reports can depict the number of projects that are listed in the database, suppliers, magazines or project details and can easily be printed.
