Sending and receiving emails containing work-related files such as database components is not something uncommon. The problem is it can become a real pain when you receive the documentation, and then manually copy and paste it into a database management tool for further processing. Regular expression match uses the powerful regular expressions to define the format of the captured text, while text filtering and replacing is used to remove or replace characters, usually in combination with other text capture method. The script-based parser is the most powerful and flexible way to parse an incoming email. Suitable for those users who have very specific needs. They are not meant for the average user as it requires some programming skills. Regardless of criteria used, all extracted information can then be transferred easily for database editing, allowing much shorter work times.
