ScreenTabs Free Edition provides a comfortable and easy method to keep your desktop uncluttered and efficiently organize your workspace. It can create multiple virtual screens that are quickly accessed using colored and easily identifiable tabs, just like in a dossier.

The application can work with multiple monitors and display a separate set of tabs on each screen. The free version has some limitations concerning the allowed number of tabs, but it should be more than enough for the regular PC user.

Switching from one screen to another is done by clicking on the designated tab or by using the user-defined hotkeys. You can change the name of the tabs and customize their color to find exactly what you need in a matter of seconds.

There are multiple tab styles that you can choose from, some useful for decorating the desktop and enhancing its appearance. Their transparency is adjustable and you can configure the application to automatically hide them in order to avoid occupying extra screen space.

The application enables you to view a list of all the applications that are opened in each of your virtual screens. Opened windows can be ignored, copied on all the tabs (consequently, the corresponding application is then opened in each virtual screen), opened or removed using the options in the right-click menu.

The 'Launcher' section can be used for quickly accessing frequently used programs, folders and files that you want within reach.
