Now that both the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are available for purchase not only in the United States but also in some other markets across the globe, Microsoft can begin its ad offensive and have its brand ambassadors speak highly of the new models.

Case in point, Lotus F1 driver Romain Grosjean, who is also a Lumia ambassador and who talks about the collaboration between his team and Microsoft in this new video.

“Lotus F1 Team Driver and Lumia Ambassador Romain Grosjean shares his passion for Formula One and the advanced technology collaboration between the Lotus F1 Team and Microsoft Lumia. Powered by the new Lumia 950, Windows 10 and advanced Microsoft technology,” the video description reads.

Microsoft’s investing a fortune in these ads, and seeing Romain Grosjean praising the new Lumia models isn’t at all surprising, as the company needs high-profile figures to promote its devices in several fields. The same happened with Real Madrid stars a few months ago, as Microsoft also has an on-going collaboration with the Spanish football club.

As for the new Lumias, they are now becoming available to people across the globe, so it could take a little bit longer to determine whether they’re successful or not. But having people like Grosjean advertising them surely helps a lot, especially since these are completely new models.
