Microsoft introduces new store in Windows 10

One of the changes that Windows 10 brings for users willing to install the Technical Preview builds is a completely new store that provides access to Metro apps and which is expected to also be the home of Windows Phone apps in the near future.

Since Microsoft is working to bring Windows 10 platforms together, the same store is expected to be available across all devices, so this new design is here to stay, no matter if you plan to deploy the OS on PCs, tablets, or smartphones.

As you can see for yourselves in the photo gallery below, the new store is no longer colorful and childish, but more modern and stylish, which obviously makes Windows 10 altogether a bit more appealing in terms of looks and features.

As far as options are concerned, the new store provides almost the same feature lineup, so you won't find anything different, but the new design surely comes in handy when trying to find apps fast and get information about their capabilities.

Top apps are now showcased in the main screen in a much more effective way, while app description is displayed in a cleaner UI, making it easier to read the description and the feature lineup.

User reviews have also been revamped and now look better in the product page, so it's also easier to find others' opinions on a specific app.

Overall, the new store is indeed a neat addition to Windows 10, and expect it to replace the current version completely before the new OS gets the go-ahead.
