You’ll soon be able to pre-order the new OS, they say

Windows 10 is expected to arrive next year and there’s no doubt that retailers and Microsoft partners across the world want to make the most of the new operating system’s release.

Newegg is one of the online retailers hoping that Windows 10 will significantly improve their revenues when it becomes available, so someone within the company was tired of waiting today and published the official listing of the new OS on their main website.

In other words, this is the page where you’ll be able to buy Windows 10 when it becomes available, which according to Newgg should happen “soon.”

Of course, the term “soon” this time most likely means about 9 months of waiting, but it could still be an effective way to keep interest in the new OS high.

Newegg doesn’t reveal anything new about Windows 10 and the screenshots they show are from build 9841, which is actually the very first Technical Preview version released in early October. A lot could change until Windows 10 comes out, so Newegg could also replace these screenshots with new ones every time Microsoft implements new features in the OS.

There’s no word on pricing, but some people claim that Windows 10 could be free for Windows 8.1. It remains to be seen if this plan is true or not, but keep an eye on the Newegg page because it could soon reveal some pretty interesting details about this revamped OS.
