Steve Ballmer is no longer the CEO of Microsoft, but this doesn't mean that he's not watching the company's product unveilings anymore. Yesterday, Ballmer was one of the guys who struggled to watch the live webcast of the Windows 10 for consumers event and deal with all the buffering that happened at random times during the show.

And just after the two and a half hour event came to end, Ballmer took to Twitter to tell everyone that he was really pleased with the new direction of the company. Eventually, Ballmer also added that he loved Windows 10 and Microsoft.

“Today made all MSFT employees proud, customers excited and shareholders salivate. The wave of windows 10 hw, services OS rocks I love MSFT,” he said in his tweet.

Ballmer stepped down as Microsoft CEO in February 2013 and later resigned as board member, so currently he only holds the role of shareholder within the company.

In the meantime, he purchased his very own NBA basketball team, so most of his time is spent in this new industry. Of course, he's no longer involved in Microsoft's business at all, but he still keeps an eye on the new products launched by Microsoft.

After all, he continues to be the number one individual shareholder of Microsoft, and after spending more than 30 years within the company, it's hard not to express his passion for new products in these key moments that the software giant is going through.
