“We want you to feel confident,” the company says

Back on May 20, Panos Panay, the man in charge of the Surface division at Microsoft, presented the new Surface Pro 3 tablet for the first time, describing it as the perfect alternative for those who want to give up on their MacBooks.

Since then, Redmond has rolled out several ads to promote its Surface Pro 3 and demonstrate that this device brings several advantages over the much more popular MacBook, and today the company has made yet another step with the same purpose.

Microsoft has introduced a new website that highlights the advantages a Surface Pro 3 owner has when compared to a MacBook user, explaining that it wants people “to feel confident” and be sure they’re making the right decision.

“We want to make the transition as easy as possible. If you currently have a Mac and have questions about switching to Surface Pro 3 and Windows, we designed this site to help get you started,” Microsoft says.

Basically, this website comes with the needed resources to get you started with Windows, move from the MacBook to a Surface Pro 3, learn the differences between the two devices, and use the tablet with iPhone, iCloud, and iTunes.

It remains to be seen how many MacBook users would actually make the switch to a Surface Pro 3 following this campaign, but there’s no doubt that such a website comes in handy to anyone who follows Microsoft’s advice.
