14 DAY TRIAL // As my colleague Cosmin Vasile reported to you a couple of days ago, there's a new hack in town that allows you to install Windows 10 for phones preview on all Lumia models, despite the fact that Microsoft has only released the early builds on a handful of devices.
Obviously, it was only a matter of time until people tried this hack on their phones, so here's the Lumia 520, which is currently the most affordable Windows Phone device on the market, running Windows 10 for phones preview pretty well.
Surprisingly, Windows 10 for phones preview seems to run very smoothly despite the fact that Lumia 520 comes with only 512 MB of RAM. Microsoft has already confirmed that it plans to support these low-end devices in the final version of the operating system, but the company has explained that, for the moment, only Lumia 630, 730, and 830 are capable of running it.
Obviously, that's not entirely true if we take the aforementioned hack into consideration, and those who have the 520 can always give the new operating system a try.
Just so you know, installing Windows 10 for phones preview on your Lumia 520 could brick your phone, and Microsoft has already warned that it's a risk you shouldn't take.
