Entertainment takes up various forms. In fact, anything that’s fun can be classified as a form of entertainment. One of them that still lives and flourishes because of the Internet are comic books.

At the core, they’re only a bunch of drawings, dialog bubbles, and effects expressed through words like “Boom!” or “Pow!”, but catch the interest of the public through solid narration and overall development of the story with each new comic strip.

As such, a comic might require some drawing skill to make a first good impression. On the other hand, there’s this small application you can use to assemble comic book strips and save them as images to share with your friends. Who knows, maybe your new character one day becomes a pop-culture legend.

Creating a simple comic strip

Step 1: Download and install Adobe AIR first.

Step 2: Download, install, and run Komixo.

Step 3: Select the comic strip layout and press the check button.

Step 4: Click the small image or folder button to load pictures you want to use.

Step 5: Drag an image from the bottom library in one of the slots.

Note: When positioning images, they are only visible in that slot. You can add as many pictures in a slot as you like.

Step 6: Use the small toolbox to add text or empty clouds, as well as solid objects.

Step 7: Click on File and Publish your new comic strip either as PNG or JPG to share with others.
