qt4-fsarchiver Live CD/DVD For Linux

qt4-fsarchiver Live CD/DVD is an open source distribution of Linux derived from the Ubuntu Linux distribution and built around the qt4-fsarchiver application, a graphical user interface for the well-known FSArchiver disk cloning utility for GNU/Linux systems. It’s a stripped down version of Ubuntu that includes only a few software packages.

This special Linux kernel-based operating system is distributed in two editions with support for English and German languages, as Live CDs and Live DVDs, supporting both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x86_64) hardware platforms.

Both the Live CDs and Live DVDs have been designed to automatically start the live system in 10 seconds from the moment the user boots the respective ISO image from the BIOS of a computer. To access the boot menu, press any key on your keyboard during the 10-second timeout.

Default boot options include the ability to start the live system with normal settings or in safe graphics mode, perform a system memory diagnostic test, as well as to boot an existing operating system from the first disk drive detected by the BIOS.

The default and only graphical desktop environment of the qt4-fsarchiver Live CD/DVD operating system is Unity, the default graphical interface of the Ubuntu Linux distribution, providing users with a modern and attractive session.

As its name suggests, qt4-fsarchiver Live CD/DVD is built around the qt4-fsarchiver application, which allows users to easily clone disk drives using a modern and straightforward graphical user interface.

Default applications include the Mozilla Firefox web browser, Gedit text editor, GParted partition editor, UXTerm and XTerm terminal emulator, as well as various utilities and the Synaptic Package Manager for installing extra applications.
