MakuluLinux Unity For Linux

MakuluLinux Unity is a freely distributed GNU/Linux operating system, also known as a Linux distribution, derived from the Ubuntu and Debian OSes, and built around the controversial Unity user interface of Ubuntu Linux.

The Unity edition of MakuluLinux is currently available for download for free as a single, installable Live DVD ISO image that has been designed from the ground up to support only 64-bit (x86_64) instruction set architectures.

The Live DVD of MakuluLinux Unity offers the same boot menu that it is available on all other MakuluLinux editions. It automatically starts the live session in 10 seconds from the moment the users boots the ISO image from the BIOS of the PC.

The boot options are optional and available to the user only if he or she presses a key during the 10-second timeout. Available boot options include the ability to start the live session with standard options, in compatibility mode, and in recovery mode.

You can boot an existing operating system from the local disk drive, check the integrity of the bootable medium (only if booting from a DVD disc), as well as to reboot or shutdown the computer.

MakuluLinux Unity provides users with a beautiful Unity desktop experience, highly customized that in our opinion is much better than the default Unity interface of the Ubuntu Linux operating systems.

You get full 3D desktop effects, a robust system tray area with numerous utilities, desktop widgets powered by Conky, gorgeous icon and desktop themes, and even a bottom, transparent panel that acts as both a task manager and an app launcher.

Best of all, the Unity edition of MakuluLinux includes a vast amount of open-source application that should please everyone. Among the most important ones, we can mention App Grid, Synaptic Package Manager, WPS Office, Mozilla Firefox, and Evolution.
