Falldown, a fast-paced and addictive game that we previewed last month, hit the streets a few hours ago, on September 9, with version 0.0.7 available to users worldwide on the Ubuntu Store for phones.

Thanks to Riccardo Padovani, creator of Falldown, we had the great pleasure of taking an exclusive first look at the new game for Ubuntu Touch on our BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition smartphone and we loved it.

The game aims to be a clone of the popular Falldown game that you can find on the Google Play Store for Android devices, but using a cartoonish design. It features rhythmic music, different powerups, and, of course, traps that you need to avoid.

If you're not in the loop, Falldown is a fast-paced game where you have to tilt your device to control a ball while it falls down through holes of different sizes. The player's main goal is to avoid getting squished at the top.

"I’m happy to announce Falldown hit the Ubuntu Phone market," says Riccardo Padovani. "Falldown is a cartoon game where you have to tilt your phone to make ball fall down quickly with rhythmic music. Don’t get squashed."

The game is available for free right now from the Ubuntu Store on your Ubuntu-powered phone, compatible with all devices, including BQ Aquaris E4.5, BQ Aquaris E5 HD, and Meizu MX4.
