The Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition is a very successful laptop that tends to sell really well. Only a limited number of units are made each year, and they also ship with Ubuntu. The company is looking to clear the inventory before the new one arrives and it's slashing prices.

Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition sold like hot cupcakes in 2015, and the company had to refresh the stock, at least once. This happened in Europe, but it looks like the clients in The United States weren't all that interested. That's why Dell is now slashing prices in order to clear the existent stocks before the next-gen version of the laptop arrives.

“The XPS 13 isn’t just the smallest 13-inch laptop on the planet, it also has the world’s first virtually borderless infinity display,” reads the official website. There are a few versions available, but Dell's Barton George explained on Google+ what the discounts are and how users can benefit from them.

The three models that can be bought with the $100 discount are i7/8/128/QHD+, i5/8/128/QHD+, and i5/8/128/FHD. People just need to use the SAVE100BIZ coupon when paying for the laptop.

The promotion was initially set to end on January 28, but it has been extended until 7:00 AM CT, February 18. Also, please keep in mind that the promotion is only available for The United States.
