14 DAY TRIAL // Today, 4MLinux founder Zbigniew Konojacki has informed Softpedia about the immediate availability for download of his BakAndImgCD 16.0 Live CD, a fork of the 4MLinux operating system used for data backup and disk imaging operations.
Based on the 4MLinux Backup Scripts 16.0, the BakAndImgCD 16.0 Live CD has been designed to help system administrators and regular users perform data backup operations on their machines, no matter the operating system installed.
At the moment, BakAndImgCD 16.0 comes with support for a wide range of filesystems, among which we can mention Btrfs, EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, Reiser4, ReiserFS, XFS, JFS, NILFS2, FAT32, FAT16, NTFS, HFS, HFS+, and F2FS.
Additionally, the distrolette includes a bunch of disk imaging/cloning tools, such as GNU ddrescue, which you can see in action on Mr. Konojacki's tweet below, as well as Partclone and Partimage.
