Vendetta Online, a space MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) developed and published by Guild Software Inc that is also available for the Linux platform, has just received an update.

The previous update for this MMO had a very interesting new feature. The developers added a new OpenGL 4.x renderer and it was bound to cause some issues. Nothing really major happened, but the makers of Vendetta Online had some small fixes nonetheless.

"We're hard at work on another round of graphical improvements, trying to finish these up around the end of the year. It was hoped that some more changes would be debuting in this release, but they were not stable enough as of yet. Next week is more likely. In the meantime, please continue to post any problems you find in using the "OpenGL 4" GKGL driver, and we'll continue debugging them on our end," reads the announcement.

The devs said they corrected an overrun in prototype OpenGL driver for Linux and a couple of fixes had been implemented for the mobile version of the game. A complete list of changes and other fixes can be found in the official announcement. You can download Vendetta Online 1.8.316 right now from Softpedia.

Keep in mind that you will need a steady Internet connection to download the rest of the files and to play the game.
