This is a device that resembles Nexus 4 a lot

The porting process for the Ubuntu Touch has been made much easier with the publishing of the Ubuntu Porting Guide and now we've spotted an LG Optimus G in the wild running the Ubuntu OS.

Getting to run Ubuntu Touch on a phone is not a difficult task and the fact that there is an Ubuntu Porting Guide available is a very helpful. It's not an easy thing to do and it will require some work, not to mention the user's willingness to possibly soft-brick the phone, but it's doable. There are some quirks that still need to be sorted out, but it looks like the guide is having the desired effect.

As you can see from the video, this is done with the sources from Nexus 4, so you might spot the name in the images. Also, getting the GSM to work is another ball game and little bit more complicated. The guy who made this happen didn't say how much it took him to get this build going, but the performance seem to be very good.

LG Optimus G is a powerful smartphone powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz Quad-Core Processor and has a 4.7-inch display. It's pretty similar with the Nexus 4 device, at least in terms of hardware and it should be easy to adapt.
