The highly anticipated Mobile World Congress (MWC) event will take place between March 2-5 in Barcelona, Spain, and as expected, Canonical will be present to showcase its latest Ubuntu technologies, including the Ubuntu convergence of the upcoming Unity 8 interface and the first Ubuntu-powered phones, the BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition and Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition.

Canonical's booth is located in Hall 8.1 at stand F41, where the company will also demonstrate its new products and technologies, including the Snappy Ubuntu Core operating system for the Internet of Things ecosystem, as well as the latest and greatest Ubuntu OpenStack innovations.

The entire month of February was full of news related to the BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition flash sales, as reported by Softpedia. Now it is time for you to go see the device live at MWC 2015, or simply wait for it to arrive sometime in March. In the meantime, we have a nice new video for you that showcases the greatness of the Ubuntu convergence on phones, tablets and laptops.

Unfortunately, Softpedia won’t be present at the MWC 2015 event, but we will try our best to cover the most important facts on our dedicated news section.
