14 DAY TRIAL // Teddy Floppy Ear – Mountain Adventure is a new game developed and published by Forever Entertainment on Steam. The makers of the game also released a Linux version and it is now available with a 15% discount.
The Steam for Linux platform has many games, but very few of them are actually aimed at children. There are a few that can be safely played by small kids, but not nearly enough.
"Based on a famous Polish cartoon, Teddy Floppy Ear stands out as a great entertainment for our younglings. The game mixes entertaining adventure game with a healthy dose of learning. In this episode our main character goes onto an extended visit to his uncle, a painter, who's living deep in the mountains," reads the Steam entry.
Teddy Floppy Ear features great educational value, it comes with numerous mini-games, and it features nice music. The system requirements for the game are extremely low, so almost anyone can just download and play it. Users will need at least Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (it will work on other systems as well), a 2 GHz processor, and an OpenGL 2.1 compatible video card.
