A new flash sale for the BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition is about to start in less than an hour. BQ announced it yesterday, and if the same trend applies, it will last for a few hours.

These flash sales from BQ are put together to get people talking about the Ubuntu phone and it seems to work. That means that the BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition hasn't been officially released yet, just announced. That will most likely happen at Barcelona, at the MWC 2015 event.

This is the third sale made for the phone and it looks like BQ had some success with it. The first sale proved to be a challenge for their servers, and the second one lasted for a few hours. The phones are going quickly and it's very likely that this is also the last one before MWC 2015, which is scheduled to start on March 2.

In case you didn't know already, Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition is a unlocked dual-sim phone. It comes with a 1.3 GHz MediaTek Quad-Core Cortex A7 processor, 1GB RAM, an 8MP back camera with flash and a front-facing 5MP camera. The size of the display is 4.5 inches (960x540 resolution), which makes it quite similar to the already known Nexus 4.

The flash sale starts 9AM CET (Central European Time) and it's only for European customers.

Update: The flash sale has started.
