The NeocoreGames studio confirmed the fact that it's no longer trying to port its games on the Linux platform, even if they were already working on the Beta version for The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.

Many studios are choosing to port their games to the Linux platform, but it looks like NeocoreGames is no longer one of those studios. It's not clear why they are no longer trying to port The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing or any of the other titles, but it looks that it's not happening too soon.

A user asked on the official forums what their plans regarding the Linux platform were. "What about Linux ports of your games? After release VHIII Neocore resume porting it to Linux? I say about VH1 (in beta phase on Linux) and VHII, Deathtrap and VHIII? Is still in plans or not?" wrote the users. The answer was short and to the point. "We don't plan to port our games to Linux for now."

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is a hack-and-slash game that is pretty similar to the Diablo franchise, although it does feature different gameplay mechanics. It has been available for a couple of years and some users that already have a working Beta version. More details about The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing can be found on Steam.
