AAEON Technology Inc., a Taiwanese computer manufacturer, has recently introduces a new ultra-slim compact embedded computer that runs the Fedora Linux operating system on Bay Trail Intel Atom or Celeron processors.

Dubbed AEC-6403 or BOXER-6403, the tiny computer offers one of the thinnest and most compact industrial-grade profiles. It is designed to run both Linux and Windows operating systems and has been awarded the 2015 Taiwan Excellence Award.

Powered by either Intel Celeron or Atom 22nm Bay Trail generation processors, AAEON's BOXER-6403 embedded computer supports up to 8GB DDR3 RAM with two quad-core Celeron CPUs, or up to 4GB DDR3 RAM with either one dual-core Intel Atom E3825 or one dual-core Celeron processor.

In addition, it boasts built-in 18/24-bit single-channel LVDS (Low-Voltage Differential Signaling), one USB 3.0 port, three USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, an HDMI port, dual RS232/422/485 ports, mSATA storage, and six DIO connections that support wet or dry contacts.

With a 5-year availability, the BOXER-6403 embedded computer is up for purchase right now from AAEON's online store. Unfortunately, there's no word on the price, so you will have to send an inquiry to AAEON before purchasing the tiny computer.
