Prison Architect, a prison management simulator developed and published by the famous Introversion Software studio, is now available for purchase on Steam for Linux with a huge 80% discount.

If you’ve never heard of Introversion Software, then you really need to play their games, all of them. It's one of those studios that are not content to do what everyone else is doing, so all of their games are actually refreshing and full of gameplay features that haven't been tried before.

Prison Architect is still in the Early Access program on Steam, and it's been in this stage for a long time, but the developers have improved it tremendously. The developers promised it should be ready by December 2015.

Even if it's technically still an Alpha release, the game had a very positive reception, and it's been in the top ten sold games on Steam for Linux many times.

"Prison Architect is the world's latest Prison Management Sim. Starting with an empty plot of land you must construct a holding cell with basic water and electricity to house your first batch of prisoners, to buy you enough time to create a proper cell block," is noted on Steam.

The 80% price cut is about to expire in about six hours, at 17.00 UTC, so you’d better hurry up if you want to take advantage of the offer.
