While the GNOME development team has successfully unveiled the first Beta version of the forthcoming GNOME 3.16 desktop environment, which can be tested today on the daily builds (rawhide) of the upcoming Fedora 22 Linux operating system, some core components are still updated for the current stable release of the acclaimed desktop environment, GNOME 3.14.

GNOME Initial Setup is one of those core components and version 3.14.3 is now available for download and update on selected platforms. The release fixes a crash in the network page of the wizard, appends ibus sources to the input sources list, and automatically detects the screen’s resolution and resizes the main window accordingly.

Moreover, GNOME Initial Setup 3.14.3 fixes a crash in the language page of the wizard, hides the main window instead of letting GNOME Display Manager (GDM) close it, uses header bars on GNOME Online Accounts (GOA) dialogs, patches another crash, this time in the keyboard page wizard, and updates the Portuguese and Vietnamese translations.

You can download the GNOME Initial Setup 3.14.3 sources right now from Softpedia, but keep in mind that it is useful only for new installations of the GNOME 3.14.x graphical desktop environment.
