GNOME Software, the default graphical package manager has just been updated to version 3.14.3 the other day, February 27, bringing a handful of fixes and numerous updated translations for the current stable release of the GNOME desktop environment.

Thanks to Rafal Luzynski and Kalev Lember, the GNOME Software application will no longer crash when the user clicks on the back button. In addition, the back button will not redirect users back to overview, also thanks to Kalev Lember.

GNOME Software 3.14.3 also fixes a crash discovered in the screenshot loader function, and implements an error message that will appear when the program fails to load detailed information about a local file. Both issues have been addressed by Kalev Lember.

Last but not least, the third maintenance release of the GNOME Software 3.14 application received several updated translations, among which we can mention Kazakh, Finnish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Swedish, and Turkish.

As usual, we recommend checking the main software repositories of your GNU/Linux distribution for updates, if you want to use the new and improved version of GNOME Software. You can also download the GNOME Software 3.14.3 sources right now from Softpedia in case you want to compile the application yourself.
