FileZilla, one of the best open-source and cross-platform FTP clients available on the market, reached version 3.11.0 on May 19, bringing assorted new features and bug fixes.

FileZilla Client 3.11.0 is now available for download for all Linux kernel-based operating systems with binaries built especially for the recently released Debian GNU/Linux 8.0 (Jessie) distribution.

The new version brings a fix for a crash that occurred when attempting to open a wrapped dialog without restarting the application after changing the language to either Japanese or Chinese, and makes sure the titlebar is at least somewhat inside the screen boundary when a saved window position is restored.

Version 3.11.0 also solves issues with DST (Daylight Saving Time) conversion by implementing new date/time handling, repairs disabling of timeouts issues, fixes a matter with the returned error level of the Microsoft Windows installer, and addresses a crash that occurred when disconnecting the application during transfers.

Moreover, an error message that appeared when attempting to re-queueing folder items has been removed, the source IP address of the data connection has been tied to the same IP as the control connection in the passive mode, and the official binaries are now linked against SQLite 3.8.10.1 and GnuTLS 3.4.1.

Download Filezilla 3.11.0 for Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows right now from Softpedia or directly from the official website of the application, where you will find all the information you need about FileZilla.
