Bright Cluster Manager now fully supports SLES 12

Bright Computing, the leading provider of management solutions for clouds and clusters, has announced today, February 24, that they now fully support the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 12 computer operating system in their Bright Cluster Manager infrastructure.

This will allow Bright Computing customers to manage, monitor, and deploy clusters based on the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 operating system through the user-friendly Bright interface.

“Having Bright Cluster Manager support for our latest software is important to us, since many of our customers use Bright to operate their SUSE Linux Enterprise Server deployments,” said David Byte, sr. technology strategist at SUSE.

Prominent features of the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 operating system include the powerful Btrfs file system, systemd integration, support for full-system rollbacks, support for the latest Linux kernel, as well as wicked integration.

Any Apache Hadoop or HPC (High Performance Computing) can now benefit from these state-of-the-art features using the Bright Cluster Manager technology, which is available starting today for all Bright Computing customers.
