Ubuntu Touch has received quite a few fixes in the past few weeks, and now Canonical has decided to make the changelog much clearer for regular users.

Ubuntu devs are preparing to close the current RTM branch for Ubuntu Touch and they have made a number of important changes and improvements to the operating systems. An upcoming OTA update will be available soon, so it's good to see exactly what's different from previous releases.

Most of the updates made until now haven't been clearly explained, and reading mailing list discussions among developers is not something that anyone can do. This is why Canonical decided to detail the changelog in a much clearer formula.

According to the changelog, a number of battery life improvements have been implemented, it's now possible to take screenshots that show the volume bar, notifications can now be dismissed by swiping, it's now possible to edit images straight from the Camera photo roll, Fullscreen and Normal modes are now supported in Gallery photo display, and the support for BT devices that require a Pin code for pairing has been improved.

Also, the developers published details about some of the change made for the Telegram app. It's now possible to send other files than just photos and videos, image previews are now zoomable, the notification support has been improved, and a number of UI improvements and fixes have been added.
