Did you managed to get an Ubuntu phone today?

We have to admit that today’s flash sale of Ubuntu phones was a successful one, especially because we managed to get one too and because we saw a lot of happy people posting tweets about purchasing the first-ever Ubuntu-powered smartphone. The Ubuntu Phone flash sale is now over, as announced by BQ on their Twitter account, and confirmed by Canonical.

This was the second Ubuntu Phone flash sale to date, after the February 11 one, which ended leaving many disappointed users who tried to purchase the device from BQ’s falty online store. We still have no idea how many BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition devices were sold at the moment of writing this article, despite our efforts to find out directly from BQ or Canonical.

Of course, we’ll announce here if a new flash sale will be available in the near future, so make sure that you follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ in order to stay in touch with us and receive the latest and hottest news about Ubuntu and other Linux-related technologies. Do not hesitate to use our easy-to-use commenting system below to brag about your new Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu phone device.
