Yes, it is that time of the week again, when we want to delight our readers with yet another blog post from the "Watch" series of articles, and it is going to be a lot of fun because it involves Ubuntu Phone devices and an old-school FPS game loved by millions of players around the globe.

A few hours ago, Canonical's Ubuntu Community Manager, Mr. Alan Pope, posted a new video on his YouTube channel to show us, mortals, how he plays the awesome DOOM first-person shooter (FPS) video game - yes, the one released by id Software back in 1993 - on his Ubuntu-powered phone.

And now for some technical details, as we know that you're very curious to find out what hardware devices and software Mr. Alan Pope is using in the video attached at the end of this blog post. Well, he says that he's using the DOSBox x86 emulator to play DOOM on his BQ Aquaris E4.5 phone.

"Holding a phone in one hand and playing Doom with the other is surprisingly difficult. As you can see," said Alan Pope on Google+. Well, we have to admit, that's quite something! But now, enough with the chit-chat. We will now let you enjoy the one-minute-long video below, as well as that superb music of the DOOM game. Have fun!
