Installing Android 6.0 on Raspberry Pi is as easy as pie

It's the weekend, so we're continuing our fun "Watch" series of articles with a very interesting one, where you will see the Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Chromium OS operating systems running on Raspberry Pi 2.

Due to the lack of comprehensive information, we've decided to mix two videos into a single article. In the first video below, you can see Google's latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile operating system booting on a Raspberry Pi 2 single-board computer (SBC), courtesy of YouTube user Geek Till It Hertz.

Those of you who will attempt to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow on their Raspberry Pi 2 devices need first to download the binary archive, then write the image on an SD card, which they have to insert to and boot from the Raspberry Pi 2 device. Apparently, you can also build Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the Odroid C1 single-board computer.

In the second video attached below, you can watch a fully working Chromium OS operating system, the open-source variant of Google's Chrome OS, running on the Raspberry Pi 2 computer, courtesy of YouTube user tohipfortheroom. We apologize for the quality of the video, though.

Again, if you attempt to install Chromium OS on your Raspberry Pi 2 device, you need to first download the binary archive, extract it somewhere on your drive, and write the image on an SD card, which you need to boot from Raspberry Pi 2's SD slot. That's it, enjoy and have fun!
