Victor Vran, an action RPG developed by Haemimont Games, is now available on the GOG.com platform, which also happens to provide the DRM-free version.

It's hard to talk about Victor Vran without mentioning Diablo 3 in the same sentence. In this case, it's actually a compliment and not a critique. This is because the game is pretty much on par with the one developed by Blizzard, and it comes with some pretty unique and interesting features.

"Victor Vran lets you decide how to play the game. Forge your own personal version of Victor thanks to a vast array of powerful weapons, game-changing outfits, wicked demon powers and destiny cards. Use special moves, combine skills and weapons to wipe out hordes of hideous beasts and clever boss monsters. Slaying demons doesn’t have to be a lonely affair - team up with friends online and explore the story of the dark world together in a full co-op experience," reads the GOG.com entry.

To make the gameplay funnier, developers introduced items like "Fifty Shades of Slay" and "Nekonomicon," and users will find plenty of such references in the game. The system requirements are also quite acceptable. Users will need at least Ubuntu 14.04 or Linux Mint 17.x, a 2.5 GHz Quad Core CPU, 4 GB of RAM, and OpenGL 4.1 (GeForce 660 or higher, AMD Radeon 7000 or higher) video card, and 4GB of available space.

This is the DRM-free version of the game, so no activation or online connections are required to play.
