The mod is not available for download just yet

Star Wars: Battlefront was released just a few days ago and a new mod is already in the works for the PC platform. This particular mod turns the game into a live action movie, and in some of the screenshots it’s almost impossible to distinguish it from a real picture.

Modding is something normal on the PC, even for multiplayer games, although it doesn’t happen all that often. Many of the mods usually enhance the graphics or the perception for games, usually with some impact on the overall performance.

The Toddyhancer graphical mod is something else entirely. The modder pushed the limits of what the engine can do. It’s at a point where some of the screenshots feel like they are from real life. These kinds of statement are not to be made lightly, and each new generation of gamers makes this mistake. On the other hand, you can’t really deny what you’re seeing.

The only problem with the mod is that it uses a little too much motion blur, and that can be easily spotted. The modder also explained that all of these visuals have a big impact on gameplay. He says that it cuts 30 or 40 FPS, which is huge. Right now, the mod is only good for screenshots, but that might change in time.

For now, you can check the gallery below and see what you can actually do with graphical mod Star Wars: Battlefront.
