Electronic Arts and DICE have just revealed the official list of minimum and recommended PC hardware specifications that must be met by those that want to enjoy the game on the PC platform. The requirements are pretty hefty, especially when it comes to the recommended list, including 16GB of RAM or a high end graphics card.

Star Wars Battlefront is rapidly approaching its November release date but, until then, a special open beta is set to take place across PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms starting Thursday, October 8.

Ahead of the debut of the test phase, EA has updated the Origin listing of Battlefront with an official set of minimum and recommended requirements.

PC users who want to enjoy Star Wars Battlefront will have to meet some relatively hefty requirements, especially when it comes to RAM for the minimum specifications. The recommended ones include some pretty steep components, such as an Intel i5 6600 CPU, 16GB of RAM, or 40GB of free space.

The recommended graphics cards include a top-of-the-line Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or an AMD Radeon R9 290, both with at least 4GB of VRAM.

It's unclear at what quality levels the game will run on a recommended configuration, so expect to hear more as we get closer to the game's launch in November. Until then, PC fans can grab the upcoming beta to see how the title might run on their specs.
