Shadow Warrior 2 has just received a brand-new gameplay video, delivering 15-minutes of stellar footage from the upcoming first-person shooter set to arrive in 2016 across PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Shadow Warrior first delighted shooter fans many years ago, as arcade attendants were able to experience the initial game made by 3D Realms in 1997.

More recently, indie publisher Devolver Digital bought the rights and tasked Polish studio Flying Wild Hog with rolling out Shadow Warrior, a modern-age reboot with the same general tongue-in-cheek, ultra-violent tone.

That game was a hit and a sequel was confirmed earlier this month by Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog for a 2016 debut on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

After sharing an initial video and a few great-looking screenshots, the two companies now bring forth a massive 15-minute gameplay video that depicts some pure, unadulterated fun from Shadow Warrior 2.

The two companies also point out that each player in story mode will see the events from the perspective of protagonist Lo Wang. The other three players that can join via the cooperative mode will be portrayed as the faceless ninjas, in order to not mess with the plot all that much.

Check out the great video below and look forward to hearing more about Shadow Warrior 2 later in the year.
