The development team at Armature Studio and publisher Microsoft are delivering the trailer that they used to reveal Recore during E3 2015 with an extra layer of content, allowing gamers to hear more information about the experience from the two main creators, Keiji Inafune and Mark Pacini.

The pair talks about the way they decided to collaborate on the title and how they aim to deliver an experience that will offer a set of innovative mechanics although the amount of details is very limited at the moment.

Recore's initial footage shows a young woman walking through a desert alongside a robotic dog, exploring the entrance to a set of caves.

There they are overwhelmed by enemies that have the same kind of glowing cores, and after a battle, the dog sacrifices itself to save the protagonist, which then powers another, more humanoid robotic companion.

Recore will be launched on the Xbox One in the second quarter of 2016.

The title is very interesting because it involves Keiji Inafune, who is best known for his work on the Meta Man titles, working with a Western development studio that has experience with a mobile Batman title and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Chad Seiter is handling the soundtrack creation for Recore.
