A brief listing on the PlayStation Store hints that Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is going to be available for free to all PlayStation Plus users, probably next month when the PS Plus Instant Game Collection gets updated. Official information is coming next week, according to Sony.

The PlayStation Plus service has been around for many years now and Sony has ensured that its subscribers get to enjoy a myriad of interesting games every month across PS4, PS3, or PS Vita. At the end of each month, fans eagerly await the official announcement from Sony about the next lineup of free titles.

PlayStation Europe's Fred Dutton confirms on Twitter that the announcement of the PS Plus October 2015 lineup is scheduled to arrive next week, right at the end of September, so fans should look forward to the reveal of the titles at that time.

However, a brief PS Store listing, as spotted by a user on NeoGAF, shows that Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag might be included in the October 2015 PS Plus lineup.

The game appeared briefly as free on the PS Store section but customers who selected its entry were met with a listing that had just a reduced price, not a free one. Sony hasn't commented just yet on this PS Store listing, so expect the full reveal next week.
