The two games, plus their DLCs, are getting remastered

The oft-rumored Prototype remastered collection has once again seen a major leak appear, this time in the form of a listing on the Xbox store for the Prototype Biohazard Bundle, which contains Prototype 1 and 2, plus their DLCs, remastered for the Xbox One. Leaked trophies also confirm a PS4 release.

The Prototype titles delivered some pretty ambitious super-powered experiences a few years ago, but given Activision's desire to focus on its bigger franchises like Call of Duty, the series never continued.

Now, however, the publisher is looking to bring the two titles onto the new generation of consoles.

According to the latest Xbox store listing, the Prototype Biohazard bundle is going to arrive soon enough on the Xbox One, containing, of course, Prototype 1 and 2, plus all their DLC packs.

What's more, leaked trophies that appeared some time ago also point to a PS4 debut for the Prototype Biohazard bundle.

Unfortunately for fans, it seems that Activision is still not ready to officially announce the collection or pin onto it an actual release date. Until then, rest assured that it will inevitably appear on PS4 and Xbox One at some point in time, probably in the next few months, ahead of the winter holiday flood of new game releases.

Update: We've added the launch trailer that makes the package official. The bundle is out today.
