Lots of free trials are coming to Access users

Microsoft confirms that Xbox One owners with active EA Access subscriptions will be able to enjoy early free trials for both Need for Speed as well as Star Wars Battlefront ahead of their actual releases. What's more, starting today, September 24, they'll also get to enjoy NBA Live 16.

Electronic Arts surprised quite a lot of people when it revealed the impressive EA Access service on the Xbox One console. For a monthly subscription, fans can enjoy a catalog of older games from Electronic Arts without any limitations. All sorts of titles are added every few months and new releases get special trials for brief periods of time.

In the next few months, things are getting even better for EA Access subscribers, as Microsoft confirms on the Xbox Twitter account that three different early trials are coming to Xbox One users with Access memberships for EA"s biggest titles.

First up, starting today, September 24, they can enjoy NBA Live 16 ahead of its actual September 29 release.

Afterwards, on October 29, they can enjoy Need for Speed before it officially launches on PS4 and Xbox One on November 3.

Finally, Star Wars Battlefront, the long-awaited shooter from DICE, is going to be available for Access members on November 12, ahead of its intended launch on November 17 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
