A massive report concerning the Warcraft real-time strategy series has arrived from Blizzard's Chinese partner, NetEase, possibly confirming a new release in the major franchise.

Blizzard has been around as a company for a huge amount of time, and while its current projects are quite varied, the roots of the developer lie with the Warcraft real-time strategy series, which spawned a sci-fi version in the form of StarCraft, but also the huge World of Warcraft MMORPG.

Now it seems that the main Warcraft series is going to make a comeback in the very near future.

This report arrives from Blizzard's Chinese partner, NetEase, via 2P. The official Warcraft Weibo account has been resurrected with a message saying, "Dad, I am back!"

NetEase Vice President Li Riqiang has also posted on his Weibo account a screenshot of the current Battle.net webpage, depicting World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo 3, and Overwatch.

His messages reads, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 … One More to summon Shenron." This is a reference to the Dragon Ball anime, in which protagonists had to gather seven balls to summon a mythical dragon.

It's possible that the new Warcraft project, possibly Warcraft 4, is going to be added to Battle.net soon enough.

As of yet, however, this is still a report, so take it with a huge grain of salt.
