The development team at Visual Concepts is preparing for the launch of NBA 2K16, and a new video offers gamers interested in the basketball simulation a first look at the evolution of the Living World and how the feature will make the title more realistic than before.

Developers Mike Wang, Scott O’Gallagher and Jerson Sapida explain that the studio will carefully track the real world in order to make sure that both coaches and players react as they would in real situations, both on and off court.

NBA 2K16 is designed to make all simulated characters more accurate when it comes to situational awareness.

The development team also talks about the way collisions have been tweaked in order to make sure that each gamer is able to execute the moves that tend to dominate their game in the real world.

There are also tweaks to player movement and to physics that will increase the overall realism level.

NBA 2K16 will be available on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and older home consoles on September 25.

Tony Parker is on the cover of the basketball simulation and Spike Lee, a noted fan of the sport, has been recruited to direct the MyCareer mode, creating a more interesting narrative for the gamers to explore as their created players move up through the ranks.
