Video game developer Funcom is announcing that LEGO Minifigures is now officially launched on the PC and on mobile devices, and it is also offering a release trailer for the title, which focuses on the kind of experiences the title can offer to fans of the brick-based system.

The title is one of the few to deliver full cross-platform play, which means that gamers can enjoy the same content regardless of the device they are using.

LEGO Minifigures will offer players a chance to collect a wide range of brick-powered content, take part in unique events, explore a variety of worlds and interact with other fans as they move through the story.

Cooperation is crucial to the experience, especially for those who want to one day own all one hundred characters that the developers have created, based on original LEGO designs.

Rui Casais, the chief executive officer of Funcom, states, "To make it even easier for friends to play together, the game is playable seamlessly on a large number of platforms and devices, and everyone plays together in the same online world."

LEGO Minifigures is designed to appeal mostly to kids and has been certified as being KidSafe and compliant with COPPA.
