The development team at Boss Key Productions, which is led by Cliff Bleszinski and Arjan Brussee, is announcing that its first title is called LawBreakers and was so far developed using the name Project BlueStreak.

After a two-day teasing campaign, the studio is now ready to offer an official look at the universe of the title and explains that gamers will be able to see gameplay for the first time on Friday, August 28, at 5 PM Greenwich Mean Time.

LawBreakers is a first-person shooter that focuses on the competitive team experience, with the entire world divided into two factions by an event known as The Shattering, which has irremediably affected the way gravity works.

Boss Key Productions states, "The world recovered and ushered in a new age technological advancements providing gravity manipulation and supplement use that grants near-superhuman abilities. Now, the new technology rages and two forces fight for control; a peacekeeping organization charged with upholding the law, and a highly-organized crime syndicate bent on breaking it."

LawBreakers will be playable for those who attend PAX Prime, with gamers able to take a look at one of the included maps and four characters.

The video game will aim to introduce a range of new ideas to the FPS genre, and more details will be offered in the coming months.

Unfortunately, the title does not have a launch window yet, and it's unclear on which platforms it will be offered.
