Halo 5: Guardians is one of the biggest titles of the fall for the Microsoft console ecosystem, and developer 343 Industries is announcing that it plans to deliver a third series of its documentary series The Sprint, designed to show off how life inside the studio is proceeding as the team puts the finishing touches on the new Master Chief adventure.

The first two seasons of the web-based show were interesting because they allowed fans to see how such a big developer group interacts and collaborates in order to make sure that every aspect of the title is as good as it can be.

Halo 5: Guardians will focus on the interplay between Master Chief and Agent Locke as they seek to find out the cause of a new threat to life in the galaxy.

343 Industries has been talking about the complex teams that the single-player campaign will tackle, including relationships between races, personal valor, the price of heroism, and the power of human connections.

When it comes to multiplayer, the studio is introducing an all new Warzone, featuring the biggest maps the franchise has ever seen, while the Arena experience has been tailor made for competitive gamers, designed to appeal to the eSports crowd.

Halo 5: Guardians will be introduced on October 27, and gamers will have to own an Xbox One to play it.
