The development team at The Coalition and publisher Microsoft are delivering a new teaser trailer for Gears of War: Ultimate, which is created specifically to show gamers how the remade campaign for the classic title will look on the Xbox One.

Clearly, the game is still using the old Unreal Engine 3, but the team working on it is trying to introduce effects and upgrades that make the game worthy of the new platform.

The cutscenes are also recreated from the ground up.

The campaign of Gears of War: Ultimate will contain the chapters that were initially only included in the PC version, and there are also plans to tweak the gameplay in order to make it more similar to that of the third full game in the series.

The Coalition is also saying that it is expanding the multiplayer and integrating all the DLC that was offered after launch.

Gears of War: Ultimate will be offered in late August and is also coming to the PC.

The next title in the series, called Gears 4, is also in development at The Coalition and will be offered in the fourth quarter of next year.

It's unclear whether the other core games in the franchise will be remastered until then.
