Developer The Coalition and publisher Microsoft are getting ready to deliver the long-awaited Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and a new video linked to the title is designed to show gamers the complex work that was required to create the motion capture required by the improved cinematics of the title.

The two companies state, "Using the original dialogue and collaborating with a talented group of actors and stunt performers, the team worked to breathe even more life into the characters – bringing an increased emotional depth to the story, and emphasizing the brotherhood of Delta Squad."

The remake is designed to give gamers better gameplay and graphics, and those who pick it up will also be able to experience the rest of the core titles in the franchise when the Xbox One finally gets the backwards compatibility feature.

At the moment, its launch is set for November, when the home console will also receive a massive user interface tweak.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be out only on the Xbox One on August 25, competing with Madden NFL 16.

The Coalition is currently also working on a new entry in the series, Gears of War 4, which is designed to arrive in 2016 and will bring the entire franchise back to its roots while using the power of the new console from Microsoft to deliver improved gameplay and graphics.
